Families of geese crossing the road are a regular enjoyable sight for motorists but locals have since called for warning signs fearing more of the geese might be run over.
The feathered families cross the road in Bellingham, south east London, at least twice a day to get to Peter Pan's pond.
The signs were backed by local councillor Alan Hall and given the thumbs up from Transport for London last week.
Cllr Hall from Lewisham Borough Council said: “It is wonderful to have nature close up and present in our city and with a little help from their friends, the presence of these geese could be alerted to motorists who would then be aware that they need to take care.”
He later tweeted: “Really pleased TfL have agreed to put up signs on Bromley Road to warn drivers 'geese crossing'.”

Oliva, who was furious when the goslings were run over said at the time: “Some absolute idiot has hit three of these goslings, one is laying dead in the kerbside, another with a broken leg and blood all over it by the pond and then the third one is no where to be seen.

“The driver of this car just carried on driving and didn't even stop. I feel really saddened. One family is left with only three goslings now.“

“We'll be installing the signage within the next two weeks.”
