Amateur macro-photographer, František Dulek, 35, from Slovakia works as a technical engineer for medical devices when he is not capturing insects.
To get these unique photos of the bright and alien-looking mini beasts, Mr Dulek will get up at 3am to spend five hours out with his camera over sunrise.

Fishpond nearby Markusovce is rich for lot of species of insect
Mr Dulek said: "Most of them I took near fishpond, nearby Markusovce village, where I usually go early morning on Sundays.
"Most of insects is easiest to see very early in the morning, when ambient temperature is very low, insect mobility is limited and insect is covered by dew.
"Fishpond nearby Marku?ovce is rich for lot of species of insect. I don't need to walk far away to find another damselfly or dragonfly as I have all the species on one place.

"I use natural and artificial backgrounds but I prefer it to be natural background in autumn with the colours putting the finishing touch to beautiful pictures.

"My favourite photo is the Ladybird covered by dew which took a lot of work but was worth it for the awards I've received.
"I am just an amateur macro-photographer and projects and plans are for professionals so all I'm doing is photographing what I love - nature and especially insects."
