Perfect symmetry: Flamingos almost create optical illusion with their harmonious pose
ALIGNED in perfect symmetry, these flamingos have created almost an optical illusion with their harmonious pose.
These three flamingos aligned in perfect symmetry with their harmonious pose
Looking pretty in pink, two of the flamingos stood opposite one another with their heads gently resting on one another's necks.
While a third flamingo stood in the middle of them both.
But all is not as it seems with this serene shot, on closer inspection you will notice one of the three flamingos appears to be missing its head.
While the missing head adds to the image, creating an almost optical illusion it was merely the result of a perfectly timed photo - as the third flamingo leant down causing its head to disappear from view.
The flamingos were at a lake in South India
The picture perfect moment was captured by Ramamurthy Karthik at a lake in South India.
Mr Karthik, 35, said: "I was with three of my birding friends, we took a motor boat out onto the lake.

"The three flamingos look like they only have two heads.
"It was like they someone had made these flamingos pose like this for my photo."
