WATCH: Trust captured on camera as robin eats from animal lover's hand
THIS is the incredible moment a wildlife lover gained the trust of a wild robin who ate out of the palm of his hand.
Wildlife lover gains trust of Robin
Peter Hillock, 69, from Stenalees, Cornwall, recorded the videos on his daily walks with his labrador over the course of nine months.
The robin regularly flies up to Mr Hillock's outstretched hand to nibble on the bird feed mix.
Amazingly, the video has made him a viral sensation on Facebook, where his clips have been viewed more than two million times in the past few days.
The photographer managed to gain the robin's trust
Some online detractors have suggested the bird may be becoming reliant upon Mr Hillock's handouts.
But the former avionics engineer - who now creates intricate pencil drawings of wildlife full time - insists the bird is self-sufficient and healthy.

He said: "The robin eats at most half a teaspoon of food in the morning, and in fact after leaving my hand I have then watched him grubbing about in the leaf litter.
"I call him The Pond Robin due to his territory being near the pond where I walk with my dog."
