Leaf it to me... I’ll keep us safe and dry
THIS frog shows chivalry is not dead by appearing to protect its partner from the rain – using a leaf as an umbrella.
The amazing image was caught by amateur photographer Kutub Uddin, who keeps the red-eyed tree frogs as pets.
Kutub, 27, was cleaning out the frogs’ tank one evening while they climbed plants in his back garden in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
He said: “When it started to rain I looked to bring the frogs back in and I caught them in these very human poses, holding onto the leaf. I couldn’t resist taking a few snaps before bringing them inside.
“It looked as if the frogs were using the leaf as an umbrella. I thought they liked water so it was funny to see them acting in this way.”
