Queen Mathilde wows in pink wearing trademark cloak-style dress and Philip Treacy hat
Queen Mathilde has taken her place at Westminster Abbey to watch the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The royal arrived arm-in-arm with her husband King Phillipe of Belgium.
Queen Mathilde opted for a pastel pink number for the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla today at Westminster Abbey. Looking chic and sophisticated in her tonal outfit, the royal wore a mixture of old and new pieces. Sporting her go-to colour-block style, Mathilde's cloak dress was a flattering choice for drizzly British weather.
Mathilde arrived at the Abbey wearing a knee-length pink cloak dress and silver accessories to complete the glamorous outfit.
With a pale white Philip Treacy hat to match, the Queen looked glowing in the tonal ensemble.
The designer hat is a new look for Mathilde and has been confirmed as the Philip Treacy OC 928 Hat in White.
A staple designer for many royals, the brand is also a favourite of Queen Camilla's.

In true royal fashion, the Belgian Queen donned a mixture of designer pieces to form the striking outfit.
This included a Giorgio Armani La Prima Clutch in pink satin, which she had previously been seen holding in Tokyo, Japan back in 2019.
Sticking with the matte and satin blend of fabrics, Mathilde wore short silk gloves in the same pink shade and simple court-style stilettos.
The Queen also chose to wear sentimental jewels for the historic occasion, including a butterfly brooch and glistening pearl drop earrings.

Topped off with a seven-strand pearl choker, the royal looked both opulent and fashionable while in the company of fellow monarchs from across the world.
The jewels once belonged to Queen Fabiola who gifted them to her niece-in-law before she died.
Braving the cold in bear legs, the royal wore pink satin stilettos with pointed toes. While they are made from a different fabric, they look just like her staple collection of Gianvito Rossi heels.
And the same goes for her bold pink dress, which bears some resemblance to her nude colour cloak gown which she wore in Tokyo.

While clutching the same Giorgio Armani bag, she styled a longer dress with a floor-length hem. A cloak overlay draped over her shoulders and arms while still being part of the dress itself.
Mathilde's outfit today featured subtle detailing, including a curved v-neck to highlight her statement necklace.
The a-line skirt flatters her slender figure by highlighting the smallest part of her waist before gently flaring outwards.
Draped over her shoulder, the cloaking element added extra flair to the plain style.
