A chic lamp retailing at £6 in B&M looks very similar to a £160 John Lewis version. B&M is a massive hit with bargain hunter, thanks to its branded goods, food items, homeware and more.

The shop stocks an array of products that can add a touch of flair to any room, and among their latest offerings is the Mini Ribbed Lamp, available in four colours. On its website, B&M touts the "practical and stylish" £6 lamp as something that will "illuminate your space". It comes in cream, black, grey, or green.

B&M noted that the lamp features a "fresh, minimal finish and a ribbed design", making it "ideal for bedside tables, shelves, or desks" and "bringing modern sophistication to any room".

The lamp looks just like a John Lewis model, priced at £160. The retailer's Country Rib Table Lamp is available in two colours: cream or myrtle green.

John Lewis described its product as a "beautiful, large ceramic rounded-shaped lamp" with "textured ribs and an off-white matt glaze, along with a large oatmeal faux linen shade". It has an average 4.7 out of a possible five-star rating on the John Lewis website, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The John Lewis Country Rib Table Lamp is currently sold out in the cream shade. Both lamps are sold without bulbs, meaning these will need to be bought separately.

Elsewhere on the shelves of B&M, there's an even bigger bargain - a vase, costing just 50p, that looks incredibly similar to another John Lewis item.

The Small Ceramic Vase is said to add a 'touch of luxury' to any room you put it in. The product description says: "Fill it with your favourite flowers or leave free-standing for that minimalist touch."

It's the ideal budget alternative to the John Lewis Neptune Leven Round Stoneware Bud Vase. It's significantly more expensive, costing £69.
