Ninja's sold-out air fryer hits lowest price since Black Friday in flash sale

Air fryers have become a staple in most modern kitchens. Promising rapidly-cooked meals using a fraction of the energy of a traditional oven, it's not hard to see why they've risen in popularity over the last few years.

One of Ninja's most popular models - the Foodi MAX Dual Zone - boasts a 9.5l capacity fit to feed the whole family. While the stylish copper edition has sold-out on the Ninja website, there is currently a way to get your hands on the black and silver version at its lowest price since Black Friday - but you'll have to move quickly.

The Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Digital AirFryer is currently 30% off on Amazon - bringing the total price down from £229.99 to £161.10, with the retailer reporting that the deal is "selling fast". It has a dual-drawer, featuring two 4.75L cooking zones that can be set to different functions and temperatures simultaneously. For example, it can roast a chicken on one side while crisping chips in the other. And thanks to its handy Sync feature, everything finishes cooking at the same time. Plus, it comes with a pair of tongs.

There's also a clever Match button, which mirrors the settings from one basket to the other, ideal for feeding a large family. The baskets are non-stick, dishwasher safe, and no oil is required to get crispy, golden results. It's designed to feed up to eight people.

The Ninja Foodi MAX has six cooking functions – Air Fry, Max Crisp, Roast, Bake, Reheat, and Dehydrate – and claims to use up to 65% less energy than fan ovens, based on Ninja's internal testing.

Elsewhere, Lakeland’s new Dual 9L Air Fryer comes in at £89.99. While it is too early to have any reviews, the brand says it comes with two 4.5L drawers cook two dishes simultaneously, and 12 pre-set touch panel functions for “easy use”. Meanwhile, Dunelm has this Tower 8L Dual Basket Air Fryer for £140 with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5. One buyer wrote: “Very stylish looking. Great big drawers and cooks evenly. Very pleased with my purchase.”

The Ninja Foodi MAX currently has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 on the Ninja website, with shoppers praising its ease of use and cleaning. One shopper said: "For something that sits on my sideboard, it has the same cooking power as an oven and works so much quicker. I have tried a range of different dishes so far and been really pleased with the outcomes. The air fryer offers a range of options and having two compartments that can be matched for settings or synced to finish at the same time is really helpful. It's completely safe, and you'd hardly know it's cooking at 200 degrees or more, while I like the fact it switches off immediately if you open it."

It's also not the most compact appliance at 41.5cm wide and 27cm deep, so it's worth checking counter space before buying, but another praised: "The product is extremely powerful, and the crisping performance is excellent, very close to deep frying, especially when using Max Crisp mode." However, they would have preferred the appliance to come with an automatic food-turning function.

Another customer wrote: "Very impressed with how quick this cooks, we had a different brand of airfryer before, and it wasn't a patch on this one."
