Mattress topper shoppers say feels 'like a hotel bed' now £26 in Debenhams sale

Over at Debenhams, the top-rated Gaveno Cavailia Mattress Topper has been seriously reduced, and shoppers are already big fans. The double size is now £25.99, down from £45, saving shoppers £19. The discounts extend across other sizes too: a king has dropped to £31 from £50 (saving £19), while a super king is now £34 instead of £60, meaning a hefty £26 saving.

The plush topper measures a generous 10cm thick, promising that cloud-like, sink-in feel. Beyond just softness, it's built with pressure-point relief in mind, helping cushion hips and shoulders for a more comfortable night's sleep.

Breathable airflow aims to keep things cool, which will be welcome news to anyone who tends to overheat. It also features a hypoallergenic cover, making it a smart option for allergy sufferers or those with sensitive skin, plus secure elasticated straps to keep it firmly in place.

However, it isn't machine washable; instead, it needs to be spot cleaned and air-dried. The brand also recommends regularly fluffing and rotating the topper to help it maintain its shape over time.

Besides Debenhams, there are plenty of other mattress toppers to consider. Meanwhile, a second piped up: "I don't think this is quite 10cm thick, but it's amazing! My bed feels like a hotel bed, and it doesn't make the bed too warm either." And someone else said: "It's nice and soft and helps warm the bed."

However, not everyone was as impressed. This shopper noted: "It's a good topper; however, I also bought one from TEMU, which, I'm sorry to say, is actually thicker and bouncier, and my husband prefers that one."
