Amazon's Shark rival cordless vacuum 'handles pet hair with ease'

A cordless vacuum cleaner with more than 3,000 five-star reviews that's said to make cleaning 'so much quicker' has dropped to its lowest ever price. The deal is live at Amazon, where there's now £70 off the Ultenic U20 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.

Usually selling for £199.99, it's now available for £129.99. This represents a 35% discount and is the lowest price ever, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel.

However, customers need to act fast as the offer expires at 11.59pm on Sunday, January 25. The Ultenic U20 features a 600W motor engineered particularly for homes with pets, with the manufacturer claiming it 'effectively' eliminates hair, dust and debris.

It also competes with Shark's anti-hair wrap technology through its V-shaped anti-tangle brush that slices through lengthy hair and pet fur during cleaning to avoid tangles. The Ultenic cordless vacuum works on both carpeted and hard floors across three cleaning modes, whilst its battery delivers up to 60 minutes of uninterrupted operation.

Meanwhile, the new Shark PowerDetect Cordless Pet Vacuum Cleaner is said to deliver the brand's 'most powerful cordless suction' and is now £249.99 (was £449.99).

However, the Ultenic U20 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has proven popular among Amazon customers, earning a stellar 4.6-star rating after more than 4,400 reviews. Of these, more than 3,300 are a perfect five stars.

One happy customer shared: "Fantastic for everyday cleaning. The suction is strong and handles pet hair, carpet and hard floors with ease. It's lightweight and easy to move around, and the battery lasts long enough to clean my whole ground floor without needing to recharge. This delivers excellent performance for the price and has made keeping the house clean so much quicker."
