The married dating site surveyed 1,100 of its members, with 31 per cent admitting to having an affair with a previous partner.
The second most likely candidate for an affair is a colleage, at 25 per cent, while 15 per cent have cheated with their brother of sister-in-law.
Eleven per cent had a fling with their partner's best friend, a further 11 per cent with a stranger they met online.
Seven per cent took a very short journey to have an affair with the girl/boy next door.

Katie, a 36-year-old estate agent from Northampton and member of IllicitEncounters.com said: "When my marriage started to slowly die out, I knew I had to do something, but meeting someone new when you're already hitched is difficult - there's just too much admin involved.
"From going out and avoiding people you know to hiding the relationship from your family and friends, and not to mention finding somebody you actually want to be with, it seemed too difficult.
"It seemed more convenient to be comforted by somebody I already knew and had some sort of relationship with.
“I ended up having an affair with a colleague, which was great because it was easy to synchronise our schedules, and I had a quick fling with an ex who still lived locally."
