THE SEVEN WAYS TO USE CLING FILM (OTHER THAN TO WRAP SANDWICHES):
1. Around the stems of bananas - stops the escape of ethylene thus keeping them from ripening too quickly.
2. Removing the bits of stickers that won't come off - cover the offending sticky bits with a wet paper towel than wrap in the film until it softens.
3. Fixing drafty windows - on old, wooden ones in particular, bunched up cling film in cracks prevents drafts (or cover the whole window in cling film though that looks less attractive).

4. Store cutlery - when moving or in storage, wrap each set of knife, fork, and spoon together so you don't lose one item in transit.
5. Paint rollers - to keep them from drying out overnight halfway through a paint job, just wrap them to stop them going crusty.
6. Fridge shelves - cleaning fridge shelves is a pain so cover in a sheet of wrap and when it gets dirty, just rip of off and replace.
7. Suitcase spills - before packing shampoo and suncream and other toiletries, take the lids off, cover the open top with a bit of cling film then put the lid back on and it stops them leaking in the case.
