Priority tickets for a family or four could easily cost over £350 at some British theme parks - a hefty cost for any family.
Research has found that some families will end up paying more per ride when purchasing priority tickets.
Using real queuing times and location data Yours Clothing created a guide to reveal the theme park that is the best value for money.
There is “no clear information available on how to get the best value for money at the ticket gates,” Yours Clothing said.

Theme parks are becoming more and more expensive as the years go on.
Disney Florida has suffered a backlash from holidaymakers after it increased theme park tickets by a third in just one year.
The cost of a 14 Day Disney and Universal Combo Ticket, which gives unlimited use of the parks for four adults was £1,768, with children over 10 years old counted as an adult.
So, which theme park is best value?
Legoland Windsor
Legoland is the best value theme park over all.
Craziest Theme Park - BonBon Land, Denmark
At the family-friendly park a ticket is the best value for money overall, with £125.40 getting you an estimated 42 rides - that’s £2.99 per ride - compared with 13 rides for the standard ticket price of £50.40
Chessington World of Adventures
Chessington is the second best value with the cheapest standard and priority tickets over all.
A standard ticket costs £47.60 for nine rides, at £5.29.
The priority ticket will get you 27 rides, three times as many, for£117.60. That’s £4.38 per ride.
Thorpe Park
A Thorpe Park standard ticket is the worst value overall - £51.50 gets you just seven rides.
The best way for consumers to save money at Thorpe Park is by opting for a priority ticket, which gets you just over three times more rides, at 23.
A standard ticket costs £51.50 while a priority ticket costs £131.450.

Alton Towers?
For consumers visiting Alton Towers, their best bet is a standard ticket at £51.60. The priority ticket will get you more rides, but at almost three times the cost of a standard ticket for only nine more rides.
