Itching skin could even tell you that you have cancer of the blood.
A dermatologist Dr Daniel Glass said skin is a “mirror that reflects what is going on inside your body”.
He added: “Causes of itchy skin include abnormal liver or kidney function, low iron levels and rarely, certain cancers of the blood can cause your skin to be itchy.”
