Would YOU want to work here? VERY blunt job advert by London butcher goes viral online
A BUTCHER took a direct approach when recruiting new staff for his shop in a job advert placed in his window.
William Rose, who owns William Rose Butchers in East Dulwich, London, has obviously had some bad experiences with staff in the past if his adverts anything to go by.
The only requirements for the job were “No drama queens, no drunks, no drug addicts, no emotional wrecks, no mummy boys, no scruffs.”
He also needed his new Saturday staff member to be “hard working” and highlighted this point in red pen.
The ad was spotted and shared to Facebook by one lady, where it has since gone viral.
Commenters were quick to weigh in, with many joking that they were ruled out of working at the butchers.
One said “I am four of the above but I’ll let you guess which one.”
Another joked “Saturdays are a bit difficult for me, otherwise I’m perfect.”
But many felt the advert lacked humour and revealed what an awful place to work William Rose Butchers must be.
One man said: “And who wouldn’t leap at the chance to work under the neurotic self-obssessed controlling pedant that wrote the ad?”
Another woman wrote: “At least they’re being open about the fact this will be an awful place to work with a narcissistic boss.”
But William himself felt it was the best way to show he wanted someone who was actually serious about the job.
He also revealed the ad had led to numerous applications.

Speaking to Metro, he said: “I am by nature a very direct person so the advert was written to get maximum response and it did.
“95 per cent of the reaction has been positive and been accepted as good humour, and we’re giving a trial to two ladies this morning, as females make up 40 per cent of our workforce.”
The viral job advert comes as one woman has shared a video of her 'natural caesarean' online.
Sarah Saunders, from Devon, gave birth to her son Leo at Torbay Hospital and decided to share the clip as it was a "birth experience I will cherise forever."
