Santa tracker LIVE: Where is Father Christmas NOW? How to track Santa TONIGHT
SANTA CLAUS is coming to town tonight to deliver presents to children across the world. So where is Santa Claus right now, and how can you track how close he is to your house?
Santa tracker: Father Christmas delivers presents worldwide
Every year on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus sets off on a sleigh ride around the world, distributing presents to children who have been good this year. With the help of his trusty reindeer companions Dasher, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph, Santa will make sure every child wakes up to a stocking full of gifts on Christmas Day morning. Several live trackers have been created to find out exactly where Father Christmas is over the next day.
NORAD is usually an organisation which tracks activity in US airspace, but for Christmas Eve NORAD will also be tracking Father Christmas as he makes his way around the globe.
NORAD have been experts in tracking Santa for 65 years, and have been tracking Santa every year since the 1950s.
The organisation state on their website: "Twenty four hours a day, 365 days a year, NORAD tracks airplanes, missiles, space launches and anything else that flies in or around the North American continent, while also completing some other very important missions.
"While the tradition of tracking Santa began purely by accident, NORAD continues to track Santa.
"We're the only organization that has the technology, the qualifications, and the people to do it. And, we love it! NORAD is honored to be Santa's official tracker!"
