Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew are 'very close' says expert
It’s been over 20 years since Sarah Ferguson was an official member of the Royal Family. In 1996, the 59-year-old - who is fondly known as Fergie - was granted her divorce from Prince Andrew, following six years of marriage. Despite their split, the couple have remained close to one another, and are regularly spotted at outings together. Recently, they attended Royal Ascot, and the month before, they attended Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding with each other. The duo have also publicly gushed about one another, with Sarah previously describing them as the “happiest divorced couple in the world.” So with the couple remaining close, does Sarah still wear the engagement ring Andrew proposed with in 1986?

Andrew proposed with a Burmese ruby, which was said to represent Fergie’s red hair.
The diamond cost him a whopping £25,000, but given inflation the same stone was valued at around £72,000 last year.
Sarah - who shares daughters Princess Beatrice, 31, and Princess Beatrice, 31, with Andrew - hasn’t been seen wearing the ring recently, however, she did wear it on a special day years after the couple broke up.
One of the last times the red head wore the stunning piece of jewellery was on 6 September 2000.
This date was four years after their legal divorce, and eight years after confirming their separation to the world.
The occasion was very significant indeed, with Sarah being photographed alongside her ex-husband Prince Andrew at the time.
The pair were joined by their eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, on the day that she started at her new school, St George's in Windsor.
A year later, Fergie was still seen wearing the diamond dazzler.
However, in recent years it appears the royal has chosen to go ring-free, with the diamond nowhere to be seen.
Rumours have been swirling that Sarah and Andrew will remarry.
When the couple were together, they were given a huge stamp of approval by a very important royal, according to the biography, Sarah: HRH The Duchess of York.
In the book, royal biographer, Ingrid Seward, said: “The Queen Mother liked her at once.
"The Queen Mother went further and said that any girl of 26 would have had previous boyfriends; it was perfectly natural and she thought Sarah would be ideal for Andrew."
It was also reported the Queen had a soft spot for the Duchess of York when they first met.
Ingrid added: “The Queen liked Sarah. They got along well. Their mutual enjoyment of country pursuits, their love of dogs and horses, provided them with a common ground.”
