Extroverts are more likely to be hooked and spend up to 10 hours a day on their phone, researchers at Baylor University in Texas found.
Phone addiction may be an attempt at mood repair
Writing in the journal Personality And Individual Differences, they said: “A person who is moody and temperamental may be more likely to be addicted to their phone.
"Much like substance addictions, phone addiction may be an attempt at mood repair.”
