Slug and snail deterrent will 'rid plants of pests' - and it only costs £3 from Boots
The nifty deterrent works as a barrier against slugs and snails but also contains magnesium which the plants will utilise.
Mrs Hinch fans have shared a handy £3 item from Boots for deterring slugs from eating plants. Mrs Hinch is a cleaning and lifestyle influencer who has more than 4.8 million followers on Instagram and often shares her garden and home tips online.
Rather than using salt or copper, gardening enthusiasts suggested using Epsom salts which can be bought from Boots for £3, Amazon for £2.75 and Sainsbury's for £3.50.
Jean Quinn posted on 'Mrs Hinch Gardening Tips': "To help keep the slug population down try clearing slime from paths with vinegar. Apply with a hand mister. It will help to stop them from mating.
"If one gets slug slime on one's fingers when gardening, vinegar will remove it.
"Epsom salt sprinkled in a ring around a plant will deter slugs and snails. Wear gloves when applying Epsom salts.
