Eleanor Wilkinson, famed for her single-serve recipes, has concocted baked oats brimming with apple and the warm notes of cinnamon and ginger.
Flavouring your mornings with festive cheer, she shared the recipe on TikTok saying: "This is the perfect quick, easy and festive breakfast to make your December mornings feel extra special.

Caramelised Apple & Gingerbread Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 60g oat flour/oats, blitzed
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of grated nutmeg
- 60ml milk of your choice
- One egg white
- One tbsp golden syrup or treacle
- Three tbsp apple sauce
To serve
- Plain yoghurt
- Extra golden syrup
Method
In an oven-proof container, mix the oats, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Add in the milk, egg white and golden syrup and stir together until smooth.
Spoon over dollops of apple sauce and swirl through the oat mixture. Bake in the air fryer (or oven) at 180ºC for ten to 20 minutes (depending on the shape and size of the container) until golden brown and slightly firm to the touch.
Top with a drizzle of yoghurt and golden syrup, serve and enjoy!
