Queen Maxima is Queen of the Netherlands, married to King Willem-Alexander. The couple has three daughters, Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria, Princess Alexia of the Netherlands and Princess Ariane of the Netherlands. Born in Argentina, Maxima originally worked in marketing before she met Willem-Alexander. The couple married in 2002 and ascended to the throne in 2013 when Willem-Alexander's mother, Queen Beatrix, abdicated.
