Josh Sandiford is a reporter for Express. He covers digital news and is particularly interested in writing about UK news, foreign affairs and travel.

He is based in the West Midlands and has previously worked for the BBC and the Birmingham Mail. His stories have appeared in many national newspapers.

In December 2022 he was shortlisted for Young Journalist of the Year at The Regional Press Awards. In September 2023 he was shortlisted for Young Journalist of the Year (Regional) at The Media Freedom Awards.

He often appears at events for aspiring journalists and has spoken on panels run by PA Training and the Student Publication Association.
