Santander issues £100 alert ahead of cash giveaway
Many Santander customers have received emails and other messages

Santander has issued a £100 alert to customers, with someone set to receive a substantial 'cash boost' next month.
The banking giant has sent out emails, informing people they could win a sum of money that could "make a real difference to you".
Emails read: "Wrap up the year with a cash boost. We're sure £100,000 could make a real difference to you. Maybe it's a deposit on anew home. A big adventure. Or just a little financial freedom. Enter our prize draw today for a chance to win big."
Santander has also outlined who qualifies to enter the draw.
You'll need to maintain a combined balance of at least £100 across your Santander current and/or savings accounts at midnight on Sunday, November 30.

You'll also need to keep your account(s) open until the winner is chosen in December, and there's only one entry per person.
The prize draw is not automatic, so you will need to opt in.
This can be done directly from the prize draw email if you have received one, via the 'Products and Offers' option in the Santander mobile banking app, or via a pop up message you may have been sent in mobile or online banking, Santander said.
The prize is one single payment of £100,000, with the winner selected at random on December 11. The winner will be notified before December 19, by telephone and email - where records allow.
And if the winner doesn't accept the cash within 10 days, a new winner will be drawn. Santander continued: "The winning customer must have an open Santander current account or instant access savings accountwhen the prize is paid. No other alternatives will be offered and the prize isn't transferable.
"The winner's surname and county will be available on request after 2 January 2026, for 365 days subject to the winner's consent. The winner's information and winning entry (if applicable) must be provided to the Advertising Standards Authority on request in the event of a dispute.
"If the winner consents, the Promoter may publish their name and photograph for the purpose of publicity."
