Game's £200m live takeover
VIDEO games retailer Game Digital is tapping into the growing popularity of live gaming events by forking out £20million for Multiplay, organiser of the Insomnia festival.

Last year the UK event saw 67,000 visitors come to try out new titles and watch top players. It will continue to be led by founder Craig Fletcher who will report directly to Martyn Gibbs, Game's chief executive.

Gibbs said the deal also opens up opportunities for Game to increase its presence in the digital PC games market.
