Network, classic 1976 movie, RETURNS with Bryan Cranston in London stage adaptation
NETWORK, the widely-acclaimed 1976 movie, is coming to the London stage later this year, it has been announced.
Bryan Cranston will star in Network
The National Theatre announced a new adaptation of the all-time classic film this morning as part of their 2017-18 season.
Bryan Cranston - famed for everything from Breaking Bad to Malcolm In The Middle - will take the role of Howard Beale, played by Peter Finch in the motion picture.
The production, written by Lee Hall and directed by Hedda Gabler's Ivo van Hove, will launch in November 2017, with an exact opening night yet to be confirmed.
The reaction from fans of both the film and Cranston has been overwhelmingly positive since the big announcement this morning.
