Adele SHOCK: Star confirms – ‘I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again’
ADELE has reaffirmed that she might retire from touring after 18 months on the road.
Adele wows crowds with song Hello at Wembley
The 29-year-old is coming to the end of her 25 world tour that she has taken across the UK, Europe, the USA and down to Australia and New Zealand.
Having performed her first of four UK dates at Wembley Stadium in London last night, Adele has reaffirmed her previous hint that she may never tour again.
The star announced her intentions through a handwritten note to fans that appeared in the show’s programmes.
She wrote: “Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn't suit me particularly well. I'm a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I'm dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is!”

Adele continued: “I’ve done 119 shows and these last 4 will take me up to 123, it has been hard out an absolute thrill and pleasure to have done.
“I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artist have had on me live.
“And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don't know if I'll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home.”
Adele previously teased she would quit touring back in March
She told fans there: “I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you.
“I’m not sure if touring is my bag. My greatest accomplishment in my career is this tour. I get so nervous with live performances that I’m too frightened to try anything new.
“It’s actually getting worse. Or it’s just not getting better, so I feel like it’s getting worse, because it should’ve gotten better by now.
“With my stage fright, I just don’t want to let people down. I get so nervous on stage that I don’t have the guts to improvise or anything like that.”
