Guns N' Roses 'held by airport security' in Australia: Guess the shocking reason why?
AXL ROSE and Guns N' Roses were "stopped by airport security" when they landed in Australia and it's all AC/DC frontman Angus Young's fault.

It's safe to say that after hearing the full story we are rather amused.
However, we sincerely hope that we never see a single member of Guns N' Roses or AC/DC on a flight, lurking in an airport or, in fact, anywhere near any mode of public transport.
Shortly after arriving in Sydney for the Aussie leg of their world tour, Guns N' Roses Duff McKagan tweeted that the band had been dramtically held on the plane.
Many people might automatically assume the world of the veteran rockers, but the truth is far crazier.

McKagan tweeted: “Told we had to stay on plane last night in Sydney; ‘airport security’ wanted to do a check.
“We waited. It was Angus Young is an orange vest!”
Somehow the outrageous AC/DC star arranged to pull a prank with, presemeably, the co-operation of the flight crew or airport staff.
Considering how strict the Australians were when Johnny Depp and Amber Heard tried to smuggle their dog into the country, it seems rather extraordinary.
Gun N' Roses are currently in Australia for a series of concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth but AC/DC recently wrapped their own mammoth tour, so it's unclear what Young was doing there.
It's likely he was getting payback for some prank Rose may have played on him while he was standing in for AC/DC singer Brian Johnson. The move was unpopular with many fans but Johnson had been advised by doctors to step back from live shows or risk permanent deafness.

Guns N’ Roses will be back in the UK later this year for two major concerts at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The shows will take place on June 16 and 17.
Assuming, of course, there are no problems at the airport...
