Kiefer Sutherland swaps tough guy Jack Bauer for POP CHARTS: Watch his music video here
KIEFER SUTHERLAND, best known for playing Jack Bauer in 24, has entered the US charts with his debut Country album, Down in a Hole.
Sutherland has entered the US charts with a country music album
The 49-year-old actor is best known for playing an action hero, but he’s now he’s entered a major career change as a Country Western singer.
His debut album Down in Hole had entered the Americana/Folk chart at No 18 and the Top Country Albums chart at No 35.
Although the 24 star has only sold 1000 copies.
Sutherland has addressed sceptical fans saying his being concerned would be pointless.

He said: “I am a professional actor.
This is what I've been doing for the past 30 years and I've been really fortunate to have real success with that.”
He follows Sir Patrick Stewart who sings Cowboy Classics in a hilarious career change.
He continued: “That's what I do, so, of course, it's going to overshadow [the music].
“But, I hope it doesn't overshadow it to the point where someone doesn't hear the record for what it is.
“It's certainly not worth worrying about. It's something that I'll have a much better answer for in about a year.”

Sutherland has been involved in music for years
It may surprise his fans but Sutherland has been involved in music for a long time.
He founded Ironworks Records with producer Jude Cole, who produced Down in a Hole for him.
Sutherland co-wrote the 11 tracks with Cole and played a number of concerts last Spring before the album’s release.
His music video for the single Not Enough Whiskey has gathered 650,000 views on YouTube.
