Spice Girls tour 2019: EXTRA TICKETS released as more shows are added to stadium comeback
THE SPICE GIRLS are adding more dates to their 2019 reunion tour after huge demand for the initial six stadium shows.
The Spice Girls did not ask Posh Spice to join reunion says Mel C
The band - Emma Bunton, Mel B, Melanie C and Geri Horner, minus Victoria Beckham - will hit the road next year for the first time in a decade. As tickets went on sale at 10:30am this morning, demand was - as expected - enormous. So now, as previously rumoured, further shows are being added.
The Ticketmaster Twitter account has added the first official new show: in Manchester on May 31.
Yet another was added later in the morning: for Manchester again, on May 29. This means it will now be the official opening night of the jaunt, as things stand.
The previously-announced opener was on June 1, also at the Etihad Stadium.
Two new London dates have been added too, before the previous one: on Thursday, June 13; and Friday, June 14.
This means there will be ten stadium dates overall in the UK: with three in Manchester and three in London.

Chris Evans had strongly hinted that more shows were being prepared, when the band turned up to his BBC Radio 2 show for an interview earlier this week.
The women had kept coy on whether or not that is in fact true, with Geri saying: “I’m going to see how Mel B behaves [before we announce more].
“We’ll do six, and if she behaves…!”
Evans also tried to catch out support act Jess Glynne when she phoned-in to the interview, though Glynne stayed on-message and said she has been booked for six dates.
The presenter quipped at the end of the interview: “Good luck for the extra shows.”
Melanie C had previously said she wouldn’t tour without Beckham, but recently changed her mind.
“You do feel differently as time goes by,” she said on Radio 2.
“I was so frightened to do anything after [the Olympics] because it was special but we love getting on stage.
“Our fans are incredible not just to as a band but individually. And when we’re together we have so much fun.”
