TECHLAND have no plans to abandon Dying Light after the launch of major DLC expansion The Following.
New expansion The Following has been released for Dying Light
Players are now able to explore a new map which is bigger than all the previous areas put together, with drivable dirt buggies also available.
The Following was released yesterday in a number of countries including France and Poland, but UK gamers will have to wait until February 12.
There is also a new difficulty level called 'Nightmare Mode' for hardcore players to enjoy, while multiplayer favourite Be The Zombie has completely reinvented itself.

The DLC brings a number of new features to the game
And Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka is adamant that The Following is only the start for the Dying Light franchise.
He told The Telegraph: "It's a very important franchise. We're not going to leave it after The Following.
"I can honestly say we are happy with the results, also with the number of players and the general perception of the game.
"It's one of those times I can say it's been a great success and I think we made a lot of good decisions.
Techland have no plans to put an end to the Dying Light franchise
"I'd like people to think we try our best to make sure they have what they like, and that we'd try to surprise them with something they didn't know they wanted.
"We try to predict that we think people will really enjoy, but still in the form of our Techland identity of gameplay, that does from every game to the next one.
"We just hope that more players will have a chance to try that out. Dying Light is a great game because the vision is good.
"That's because of the people we have here who are really outstanding visionaries and dedicated players who constantly think about what we can do to make sure we have the biggest fun in our game. This is the most important part of the success."
