DOUBLE XP weekend returns to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 today.
Black Ops 3 is having a Double XP weekend starting today
The event kicks off at 6pm and runs until 6pm on Monday February 1, offering players the chance to quickly rise through the rankings and unlock more weapons and gear.
The Double XP weekend is active in online multiplayer as usual, but is also available for those who prefer hunting the undead in Zombies.

You can earn more XP playing in Multiplayer or in Zombies
The news comes ahead of the launch of expansion pack Awakening, which arrives exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and PS3 on Tuesday February 2.
There will be three additional DLC packs released throughout 2016, with Awakening bringing four new multiplayer maps and a new Zombies mission to the Black Ops 3 world.

Meanwhile, David Vonderhaar has confirmed that a new hotfix has been deployed to tackle issues experienced by players in Zombies.
He tweeted: "43.15.54.5 - Zombies! Fixing up 4-player Split Screen players being kicked. Collision fixes. And a bug where Keepers would get stuck."
