Destiny will have to compete with The Division later this year
Destiny is set to face some real pressure later this year in the battle to dominate the online multiplayer market.
Tom Clancy's The Division will be released on March 8, and IP Director Martin Hultberg is confident that a more realistic approach will eventually lure players over.
He said: "The fact that our scenario is grounded in reality, an actual 'what if' scenario, sets us apart from most other games. We have no aliens, no zombies or strange monsters running about."
There are over 100 games currently being developed for PlayStation VR
Following the news that the Oculus Rift sold out its first-day stock in just 14 minutes, Sony has decided to reveal plans for the PlayStation VR.
Chief Executive Kaz Hirai told the BBC that there are currently 200 developers working on over 100 titles for the PS VR, meaning that Sony expects to challenge the Oculus Rift every step of the way.
It is also believed that more than 36 million PS4 units have now been sold worldwide, meaning that the console outnumbers VR-capable PCs by three-to-one.
