GAMING news today includes a new hero for Star Wars Battlefront, rewards for Grand Theft Auto 5 Online and plans for Destiny’s 2016 events.
Star Wars Battlefront could see a new character introduced
It would appear that Star Wars favourite Yoda could become a playable character on Battlefront.
The Jedi Master has been listed as a character voiced by actor Tom Kane on the Internet Movie Database.
However, this does not mean that Yoda will definitely be available to play as a hero, with EA yet to comment on the speculation.

There's double cash available on GTA Online this weekend
Rockstar have announced a double cash and RP weekend on Grand Theft Auto Online.
The rewards will be available via the game’s various Adversary modes from today, ending on Sunday evening.
A free expansion called Executives and Other Criminals has also been announced, and looks set to arrive on all platforms next week.

Bungie look set to release two events for Destiny in early 2016
Destiny gamers look set to be treated to not one but two major events early in 2016.
Fans have been expressing concern over Bungie’s apparent stance regarding future events, with latest offering Sparrow Racing League only available for a short time.
But Bungie have now revealed they plan on releasing two events early next year, with one said to be the biggest since this year’s major expansion The Taken King.
