Destiny: Bungie responds to worried fans with 2016 promise
BUNGIE have announced they plan to release two new events for Destiny in early 2016.
Bungie plan on releasing two events early in 2016 for Destiny
Fans of the space-shooter have recently expressed anger and concern over Bungie’s apparent stance on DLC, with the company previously admitting they want to focus on live events instead of large packs.
New features such as the Sparrow Racing League are only available for a short period of time, and Destiny fans are unsure if their favourite game will see any major content in the near future as rumours speculate that Destiny 2 will be released next Autumn.

Fans have been concerned about Bungie's recent stance on events
But Bungie have been quick to allay fears of a content gap, telling players they can expect to see two major events soon in 2016.
An official statement read: “There’s a whiteboard in one of our meeting rooms filled with scribblings and sticky notes that represent the developments plan for Destiny’s not-so-distant future. Events, activities, content and features designed to keep you happy, entertained and rewarded throughout the year to come: some events and some actives that will become additions to your Director.
One of the new events will apparently be the biggest since The Taken King
Current event Sparrow Racing League finishes at the end of the month
“The first of these early 2016 experiences will be on a scale close to Festival of the Lost. The second will be far larger than anything you’ve seen since the release of The Taken King. There’s also another significant update to the world and sandbox planned in this same window.
“It’s true that we’ve updated the playbook based on what we’ve learned to date, and to better tap into what makes Destiny unique. Last year, we all waited five months and ten days between content drops after December. This year, the plan is to deliver new experiences at a fast clip. To that end, the updates described above are all currently slated to hit across Winter and Spring of 2016, with more to come, as well.”
