PlayStation State of Play date, time, games - Borderlands 4, MindsEye, PS Plus, Lies of P
Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater's release date will be officially confirmed following an earlier leak.

UPDATE 3: Onimusha 2 Saumrai's Destiny is coming to PS4 on May 23, while Onimusha: Way of the Sword is pencilled in for 2026. It can be Wishlisted now.
The leaked Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer was also shown during the event, alongside confirmation of its August 28 release date. Likewise, the Ape Escape content for Metal Gear 3 was also teased.
The incredible looking Hell is Us was given a gameplay trailer, alongside a September 4 release date.
One of the more pleasant surprises of the night was the reveal of the upcoming Lies of P DLC, which is titled Overture. It's coming this summer.
As predicted, Sony announced the PS Plus Extra and Premium games during the State of Play event. This includes Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Top Spin 2K24 and the first episode of Lost Records.
Housemarque ended the event with a look at third-person action game Saros.
We were also treated to a look at the new game from Leslie Benzies, which launches this summer. Titled MindsEye, the game has a bit of a Cyberpunk look and feel.
Elsewhere, Sony showcased Metal Eden, Tides of Annihilation and Days Gone Remastered, which contains new content and enhanced visuals.
Sadly, we had no GTA 6 Trailer 2 (which wasn't exactly surprising), or the rumoured Bloodborne remaster/remake and God of War prequel.
UPDATE 2: The PlayStation State of Play event kicked off with a look at Monster Hunter Wilds, including plans for a free spring update with additional quests and monsters.
The event continued with a look at Shinobi Art of Revenge, which was given an August 29 release date. Considering SEGA Saturn game Shinobi X was one of the best games I played in 2024, I can't wait to try the new SEGA platformer.
Speaking of SEGA, fans were also given a look at the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds gameplay was shown, alongside confirmation that a network test will take place on February 21.
Digimon Story Time Stranger was also unveiled, alongside the rumoured trailer for Lost Soul Aside, which is out on May 30.
The jam-packed presentation continued with a host of announcements, including plans for the release of a Like a Dragon Pirates demo on February 14, as well as Like a Dragon DLC for Dave the Diver.
Portal-shooter Splitgate will host an Alpha test on February 27, while WWE 2K25's new Island mode was also shown.
One of the biggest announcements is that Borderlands 4 will have a September 23 release date, and co-op adventure Split Fiction will launch on March 6.
A selection of horror games were spotlighted next, including Directive 8020 (October 2), Five Nights at Freddy's Secret of the Mimic (June 13) and The Midnight Walk (May 8).

UPDATE: The PlayStation State of Play video is now live on YouTube ahead of tonight's live broadcast. You can watch the action unfold live by clicking play on the video below at 10pm GMT.
More leaks and potential game announcements have also emerged ahead of the imminent event.
Lost Soul Aside developer UltiZero Games has seemingly confirmed plans to showcase the game with a new trailer during tonight's event, while rumours of a Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 port tie in nicely with the timing of the event. Perhaps the rumoured Halo Master Chief Collection port will also be announced.
ORIGINAL: Sony is gearing up to hold a PlayStation State of Play event, which you can watch right here.
The PlayStation State of Play presentation takes place at 10pm GMT UK time on the evening of February 12.
The State of Play event will run for a whopping 40 minutes, which means fans can expect some pretty major announcements and trailers.
You can watch the entire State of Play event live by clicking play on the YouTube embed below.

The news was announced by Sony, alongside a warning for people planning to stream or capture the event.
"State of Play is back tomorrow, February 12!" reads the Sony statement. "Tune in live for news and updates on great games coming to PS5.
"The show celebrates a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world."
Sony also recommends omitting any copyrighted music from video recaps and streams.
"Please note that this broadcast may include copyrighted content (e.g. licensed music) that PlayStation does not control," the post continues. "We welcome and celebrate our amazing co-streamers and creators, but licensing agreements outside our control could interfere with co-streams or VOD archives of this broadcast."
Interestingly, Sony only mentions PS5 games, which means we're unlikely to get any announcements regarding future PSVR 2 releases.
Still, with 40 minutes to fill, it should be a pretty compelling watch, especially if some of the rumours are to be believed.
First up, Sony is expected to announce a new PS5 console bundle containing 2024 game of the year Astro Bot.
Furthermore, Sony recently posted a trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which was later taken down.
Presumably meant for the State of Play event, the trailer confirmed that the Metal Gear 3 remake will have an August 25 release date.
Elsewhere, there are reports that Sony is planning a new game in the God of War series. While previous reports suggest the series could be heading to Ancient Egypt, others suggest a prequel featuring a young Kratos is in the works.
Trailers for Ghost Of Yotei and Death Stranding 2 are almost guaranteed, and don't be surprised if we finally get a new Wolverine video.
It's also rumoured that Fantasy Life could come to PS5, and there's a chance Sony could use the event to announce the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for February.
Finally, some users on social media think we might get the second GTA 6 trailer during the event, but this seems unlikely.
Me personally, I'll continue to keep my fingers crossed for that Bloodborne remake or remaster.
