Destiny 2: Forsaken 'Last Stand of the Gunslinger' preview
Destiny 2 Forsaken is out right now with Guardians able to play the latest chapter of Bungie’s space opera on PS4, Xbox One and PCs.
The Destiny 2 Forsaken expansion was released earlier this month and fans of the series will know that it starts with a heartbreaking twist.
Forsaken begins with you and Cayde-6 trying to stop a jailbreak at the Prison of Elders organised by the most-wanted criminals in the galaxy – the Barons and Uldren Sov.
However, things don’t go to plan and the Vanguard Hunter ends up paying the ultimate price.
In the wake of his death the Reef falls to lawlessness and it's up to your Guardian to take justice into their own hands.
If you’re about to embark on your quest to make sure Cayde-6’s death was not in vain, and you’re wondering who was responsible for killing him then Express.co.uk is here to help.
Courtesy of Activision, we have details on the eight barons responsible for the Exo Guardian’s death.
So, let’s take a deep dive and look at the nefarious villains behind the end of the beloved Vanguard...
Uldron Sov
Long thought missing after Oryx’s attack on the Awoken Fleet, the former Prince and Master of Crows now leads The Scorn on a quest for revenge.
Fikrul, the Fanatic
Second only to Prince Uldren, the Fanatic is the first of the Scorn.
The warrior-priest instilled in his fellow Barons that the Fallen must die in order for them to rise better, stronger – and eternal.
Elykris, the Machinist
Second-in-command to the Fanatic and his most ardent follower, she is an insatiable thief, expert in munitions, and hoarder.
Entire ships and encampments have disappeared as a result of her deadly arsenal.
Hiraks, the Mindbender
A runty little Dreg, known as Hiraks, fell into the Moon’s Hellmouth and his time in the Hive’s domain changed him.
Hiraks emerged as the Mindbender, using his power to control combatants and carve his own throne-world from the Ascendant Realm.
Araskes, the Trickster
Also known as the Butcher of Bamberga and Terminus of the Gray Legion, the silver-tongued manipulator dupes others into doing her dirty work and leaves deadly surprises for her victims.
Reksis Van, the Hangman
The silent sadist tears apart Servitors to feed his fellow Barons with Ether.
His obsession with machines built in the Traveler’s image drove the Fallen House of Wolves to extinction.
Kaniks, the Mad Bomber
Locked away for his attempted assassination of Awoken royalty, this lunatic is willing to blow an entire location to smithereens just to kill his target.
Self-preservation is an afterthought.
Pirrha, the Rifleman
An all-seeing sniper with a cybernetic eye, he keeps his targets at a distance, plays real dirty and never misses his shot.
More than one notch in his belt is for a Guardian’s Ghost.
Yaviks, the Rider
Anarchist biker, master mechanic and leader of her own gang of Pike riders, she breathes nihilism and breeds anarchy.
Her cavalry ushers in a storm of dust and chaos – few survive.
