Avengers 4: Evangeline Lilly is ‘P***** OFF’ about Ant-Man and the Wasp’s UK release date
AVENGERS 4 star Evangeline Lilly is ‘p***** off’ about Ant-Man and the Wasp being released in the UK a month after the US.

Almost twenty movies in and the Marvel Cinematic Universe usually always follows the same release pattern.
The latest entry is released internationally and then a week later it opens in the US.
However this wasn’t the case for Avengers Infinity War. To avoid spoilers the movie was released a day after the UK.
But now Ant-Man and the Wasp is being released in the UK on August 3 in the UK, while it hits US cinemas on July 6. How come?
Presumably this is because of Brits being preoccupied with the World Cup.
A move that isn’t exactly ideal when it comes to spoilers and the temptation of fans to pirate the movie.
In fact it’s not just Marvel fans who are peeved, but also The Wasp star Lilly.
Speaking with EMPIRE, she said: “They always do that.”
She continued: “Then what happens is people just pirate the movie and they see it in the worst way possible, like some sh***y version online, instead of going to a theatre.
“They go in the end, but I don't like that staggering.
“I’m really going to get to the bottom of this for you. I'm as pissed off about it as you are.
Ant-Man star Rudd joked: "I don't understand. Let me see if we can maybe get the World Cup moved."
Meanwhile Lilly has teased Avengers 4 is like LOST season 4.
The Wasp star told NDTV (H/T): “When I heard about Infinity War [and Avengers 4] and the direction that they’re heading, I did have this moment of realising, oh, wow, there’s a bit of a déjà vu for me with the Lost franchise.
“We are hitting that [Lost] season 4 space.”
Ant-Man and the Wasp is released in UK cinemas on August 3 and in US cinemas on July 6.
