X-Force movie: NEW Wolverine star to join Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool for shoot THIS year?
DEADPOOL 2 follow-up X-Force reportedly starts shooting this year, so will Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine replacement join Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin?
Deadpool 2 official trailer
The Deadpool sequel may only be a few months away, but a new spin-off is allegedly in the works.
According to Production Weekly, shooting begins on X-Force this October with both Reynolds and Brolin returning as Deadpool and Cable.
Based on the comic, X-Force is a militant mutant team who are much more ruthless than the X-Men.
In fact the latest trailer for Deadpool 2 looks like it may have teased some of the members including Domino, Shatterstar and George Washington Bridge.

Other original X-Force members who could appear are Boom Boom, Cannonball, Feral, and Warpath.
The original leader in the comics is Cable, however in a later storyline from 2007-8 Wolverine himself became the team’s captain.
Since Jackman bowed out in Logan, surely this means another actor could take on the clawed mutant.
Back in September 2015, Jackman was asked who should replace him.

The Aussie star replied: “I’m sure they’re already talking about it, that some actor out there they’ve already said, 'Shhhh… keep it quiet but we want you next.'
“He’s younger than me for sure, I think Tom Hardy would be a great Wolverine.”
Deadpool 2 is released in UK cinemas on May 16, 2018.
