Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 director James Gunn gives EXCITING update for Marvel fans
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol 3 director James Gunn has given an update on the Avengers Infinity War follow-up.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe may be gearing up for climactic epic Avengers Infinity War and its untitled sequel, but plans are already in place for Phase 4 of the franchise.
So far only two films are confirmed in the form of a Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 – although Doctor Strange 2 has also been teased.
Director James Gunn, who helmed the first two Guardians movies with Chris Pratt and co, is currently working on Vol 3 and now has a new update for fans.
Taking to his Instagram, the filmmaker posted a picture of himself holding a Baby Groot mug.

Gunn wrote: “Yes the bedhead is particularly out-of-control this morning, but I thought it was important to share my new #Groot mug with you.
“About to sit down with a cup of joe to work on - and almost finish - the first full draft of the #GuardiansoftheGalaxy Vol. 3 treatment - almost 70 pages. What are you guys up to?”
He wrote on Twitter: “It’s the end of one long story & the beginning of another.”

Gunn added: “And one of the films that will kickstart the new story will be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.”
Avengers: Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018, followed by Avengers 4 on April 26, 2019 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 in 2020.
