Speaking to an international edition of Vogue, the actress revealed how exasperating the constant commentary on her work can be.
"It's like an incessant mosquito noise," she said. "Very weird.
“People feeling the need not only to judge everyone all the time but also to pronounce themselves on it, it's extremely boring.”
She called it all “a waste of energy and time."

In the same interview, Johnson had also opened up on her future career goals - including work behind the camera.
“I read a lot, and I have found many articles and books that I’d like to turn into films,” she explained.
“My interests are very specific, and I want to see certain women acting on screen and drawing attention to some particular issues.”
Fifty Shades Freed is the third and final movie in the trilogy, in which Johnson plays Ana Steele.

Johnson stars alongside Jamie Dornan, with the notorious role of Christian Grey.
Fifty Shades Freed is out on February 9, 2018.
