Dunkirk: Harry Styles’ life is in danger in NEW tense clip - WATCH
DUNKIRK hits cinemas tomorrow on a wave of incredible reviews - and one new snippet does perfect justice to just how tense the movie is.
Harry Styles stars in a dramatic clip from blockbuster Dunkirk
Introduced by Harry Styles during his appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s US chatshow last night, the snippet sees the boat his character is on getting struck by a torpedo.
Reviews of the movie have often referenced its sparse dialogue, and it’s easy to see why here.
“What’s wrong with your friend?” Styles’ Alex asks Tommy (Fionn Whitehead).
“He’s looking for a quick way out, in case we go down,” comes the reply.

The film as a whole has been met with heaps of acclaim
Sure enough, moments later, the crowded vessel is struck and water rushes in.
Styles told Fallon: “I’m such a fan of [Christopher Nolan] and so many people working on this film.
“I felt so lucky to be there, to be honest.”
He added: “It’s the opposite to what a traditional movie-set-around-war is. It’s not about heroes going and saving the days.
Fionn Whitehead also stars
“It’s about community heroism and small acts from civilians, coming to save us, it makes this massive thing.
“It’s very much about the spirit of people and how when people come together you can do incredible things.”
