Woody Harrelson tight-lipped over Han Solo movie
Last night the shocking news about Han Solo movie directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord hit the headlines.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy had fired the pair over creative differences between the filmmakers and Star Wars veteran screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, who penned the script.
With three weeks of filming left, fans are worried for the finished version of the Young Han Solo movie due next year.
But what about The Last Jedi? Should fans be worried?
Han Solo movie CRISIS: Is Star Wars 8 The Last Jedi in danger too? Director SPEAKS OUT
One confused fan tweeted The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, asking about creative control.
They said: “@rianjohnson You praised Disney for months about full creative control and yet Miller & Lord are fired for having their own vision. Strange.”
Johnson replied: “I had as much creative control on The Last Jedi as I've ever had on any of my own movies.”
The director’s answer seems to make sense, since the reason Miller and Lord were fired was over creative differences.
I had as much creative control on TLJ as I've ever had on any of my own movies.

It is alleged that the directing pair, who helmed 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie, preferred comedic improvisation over Kasdan’s strict adherence to the script.
With around three weeks of shooting left on the project, the search for a replacement director has begun, with Ron Howard reportedly being courted.
