When he said "make it so", we doubt he meant that he wanted to be turned into an actual poop.
However, world-famous thespian, inter-galactic starship captain and mind-bending superhero Stewart is about to be the voice of the little brown emoji in a new big-screen adventure.
The Emoji Movie excitedly announced his casting today in a typically irreverent and funny fashion.

Sony Pictures tweeted: "He ain’t no (insert poop emoji)! So excited to announce the distinguished @SirPatStew as Poop in the Emoji Movie."
The British screen and stage legend is never one to take himself too seriously, as proven by his own natty Twitter handle.
Sir Pat Stew will join comedy veterans Jennifer Coolege, James Corden, Maya Rudolph and TJ Miller in the big screen adaptation of the famous animated character characters.

Hopefully his rolling tones and theatrical flair will help boost the film's fortunes. The Emoji movie's first trailer in December was widely panned by fans.
The film isn't out until October so hopefully his particularly emoji won't hit the other type of fan when it is finally released.
Things are getting a lot more serious before then, when the actor faces the end of his role in Logan.

The film's synopsis has already revealed that the mutant mind-reader is ailing and facing death in the third Wolverine film.
Early images of Professor X in a car which is showered in a hail of bullets suggest that his end will be bloody and brutal.
Logan will be released in UK cinemas on March 3.
The Emoji Movie will be released on October 23.
