Neil Diamond has announced his 50th anniversary World Tour for 2017
The 75-year-old has sold over 120 million records across the globe, making him one of the best selling artists of all time.
After Elton John he is the second most successful adult contemporary artist on the Billboard charts ever, and now he’s celebrating his half century of music with a new tour.
Marking 50 years since his first hit single, 1966’s Solitary Man, Diamond has already announced 39 concert across North America.
The US leg of his massive tour will begin on April 7th in Fresno, California, with European dates yet to be released.

Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino said: “Neil Diamond is more than just a music icon.
“His singular artistry and talent has left an indelible mark on American culture and has helped shape the sound of popular music for five decades.”
It turns out Diamond almost had the stage name Noah Kaminsky, after he admitted the fact a couple of years ago.
The star’s latest tour coincides with his new LP, Acoustic Christmas, which he promoted on Wednesday’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
