Spider-Man: Tom Holland breaks silence on newly revealed crossover
SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME star Tom Holland has spoken out about an upcoming Marvel crossover following a recently-released villain movie - but does that spell even more team-ups in the near future?
Spider-Man: No Way Home - official teaser trailer
British actor Holland has been hounded over the past few months over whether some former Spider-Man actors will be joining him on-screen in the upcoming film No Way Home. Rumours have suggested that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be reprising their roles as their respective web-heads, but nothing official has been announced just yet. Despite this, Holland has spoken out about another crossover that is about to happen.
WARNING: This article contains full spoilers for Venom: Let There Be Carnage
Last month Venom: Let There Be Carnage was released in cinemas.
The post-credits scene of the movie showed Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) watching TV while the universe around him shifted.
In a shocking turn of events Venom then saw Holland's Spider-Man on the TV, before commenting how tasty he looked.
In a new interview, Holland gave his opinion on the two mighty characters finally meeting in a Marvel movie.

Holland explained: "It was really exciting to be a part of that film.
"Obviously, Tom Hardy is one of the greatest actors in the world. I'm happy to say he's a lovely bloke."
The 25-year-old went on to add he "genuinely" doesn't know if his Spider-Man will meet Hardy's Venom.
He added: "I haven't really given it very much thought." (Via Total Film)
Of course, Holland is likely contractually obliged to keep the future of his franchise a secret.
Andy Serkis, the director of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, was less coy about his thoughts on the crossover.
In an interview earlier this year he called the moment a "tease, in the fullest sense of the word".
He later added: "Well, I think everyone wants [Spider-Man and Venom to meet]."

Serkis went on: "I mean, who knows what will happen? We hope that one day they might come across each other, I guess."
Meanwhile, the website Giant Freakin Robot recently reported that "Hardy will be in Spider-Man No Way Home".
The publication "confirmed" that Holland's fellow British star would join him on-screen in the upcoming movie for a cameo of some sort.
The chances of Venom and Spider-Man not meeting are extremely slim, especially considering they just united all the cinematic universes to make it possible.
This crossover tease would bring a Venom and Spider-Man battle to the big screen for the second time ever following 2007's Spider-Man 3.
In the Maguire movie, he fought against Topher Grace's Eddie Brock, before defeating him with sonic frequencies made by large construction poles.
Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on December 15.
