Avengers 4 runtime: You won’t BELIEVE how long Avengers Infinity War's sequel is set to be
AVENGERS 4’s runtime could be over three hours, according to director Joe Russo.

This year’s Avengers Infinity War clocked in at a whopping 149 minutes.
Such a runtime made it the longest Marvel movie to date after an incredible 20 movies. But with its sequel Avengers 4 arriving next April, could this film even longer?
Well according to director Joe Russo it could be even more than 180 minutes.
Speaking with Collider, he said: “I’ll say it could easily be a three-hour film.”
Joe continued: “But I think that, you know, we’re very hard on the material.
“We like it to play at a certain pace. Uh…I…you know, I’m sure that we’ll squeeze it.
“I can’t imagine...We have a whole year of work left on that movie.
“I do think it will be longer than Avengers 3, but it’s clearly impossible to say.”
Such a runtime isn’t as uncommon as some might think.
After all The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King clocked in at 201 minutes when it cinemas back in 2003, and that wasn’t even the extended version.
While Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Wolf of Wall Street was exactly three hours long.
Considering the sheer size, scope and scale of Avengers 4 and the fact it needs to top the gargantuan Avengers Infinity War, three hours sounds pretty fair game.
Last week Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed the Avengers 4 trailer would arrive before the end of the year.
Avengers Infinity War’s landed on November 29 last year, so hopefully, the new teaser will arrive around then.
Avengers 4 will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
