Despite all their waffle, Labour never say they would cut taxes

In this election, there is a clear choice of two candidates who will be our Prime Minister. No matter what the minor parties want you to think, only two people can really change things for you and your family. Today's manifesto launch will make whose side we're on clearer than ever.

Keir Starmer is a human weathervane. He has more flip flops than the Costa del Sol, the promises he hasn’t junked yet are dripping in wokery, and he will float whichever way the tide takes him.

Rishi Sunak is a man with a plan, who has proven he will stick to his principles and won’t just tell people what he thinks they want to hear to get by. The difference is clear. The choice is straightforward.

We know the last few years have been tough. I get it. It’s why the drastic steps we have taken, like paying half of everyone’s energy bills, protecting millions of jobs through furlough and getting inflation right down were so important.

But now, we are also the only Party with a clear plan for a secure future in an unstable world.

We need to invest more in our nation’s security. With a war in Europe, British ships being attacked in the Red Sea and conflict in the Middle East, it’s a reality of global politics in 2024.

The Conservatives are the only ones who see this. That is why we will raise defence spending and have a clear plan to bolster our society’s resilience with National Service. There is no mention of either coming from Labour.

Too much immigration, too quickly is a problem. Our borders need to be more secure.

We are putting forward bold new ideas, with schemes like the Rwanda plan and our pledge to have an annual cap on migration voted on by Parliament.

We will cut legal and illegal migration whereas Labour’s plans would see Britain become a global magnet for migrants.

Taxes need to come down. Despite all their waffle, Labour never say they would cut taxes. Given dozens of opportunities live on air, Sir Keir Starmer did not deny that taxes would go up by £2000 under him. That is because they would and he knows it.

Lower taxes, lower immigration and stronger national security. As a Conservative, these are things I hold dear in a way they just aren’t by London-centric lefties.

Let me be clear, a vote for anyone else will gift Sir Keir Starmer the keys to Number 10. That is the last thing this country needs. It’s the last thing you and your family need.

If you want to have a secure future, with controlled borders, a bolstered defence industry and lower taxes, the Conservatives are the only ones that can deliver it.

Don’t help Sir Keir on July 4th. Vote Conservative.
