Dame Diana Rigg is right about chivalry
I HAVE always adored Dame Diana Rigg (my cat is called Mrs Peel) and she is absolutely right to say that women should be charming when men open doors for them.
This has been called an attack on feminism: it is nothing of the sort.
Rather, it’s a call for good manners. Ditto if a chap offers you his seat. Is it so tough for men and women to rub along together amicably these days?
