No Snow White at Christmas creates a silver lining
I WAS briefly saddened this week when told that I am not required for pantomime this year when Craig Revel Horwood’s Snow White goes to Southend.
Then I spotted a silver lining. At least I will not have to grow my hair yet again in order to make it long enough to pin up under a wig.
Then the silver lining became a ray of sunshine as I realised I would have Christmas back and could spend it at home on Dartmoor instead of in some impersonal hotel.
And then the ray became a great blaze as I realised also that now I would no longer be away for weeks on end it could be the time to get the family of animals I have been longing for.
Woof! Miaow!
