Fewer MPs after 2015 election
IT will be tough on MPs whose seats disappear as part of the electoral boundary review but it is necessary.
Parliament already works longer than most Western counterparts, laws spill out like confetti and the system is too bloated despite devolution.
However if members are to absorb any significant increase in constituencies they must either reduce the existing service or employ more staff at our expense.
